Be part of history by being at the first ever InPort race in Asia ever! At 10.30am, witness the magnificent Volvo Open 70s depart the Race Village amidst the fanfare. From the comfort of the Marina, watch “Live” screenings of the Race itself being broadcasted from the Big Screen at the main stage from 1.00pm onwards. And be present for yet another significant moment as the boats return to dock with their team songs blaring from about 5.00pm onwards. As a finale, be part of an historical moment during the prize giving ceremony right after. During all these times, we will be celebrating all things Green with Ireland Day! We are planning an entire day of activities and performances to highlight Irish Culture. From Irish Stew to Shamrocks painted on cheeks and Leprechaun hats to Irish Flags, come and enjoy extraordinary performances from local Irish talents starting from 11.45am onwards! Come dressed in Green to stand a chance to win exclusive signed memorabilia from team Green Dragon Racing! Catch exclusive dance performances put together by the Irish Inspirational Dance Company, a school that has been teaching Irish Dancing here in Singapore for the past 10 plus years. The performances will feature both traditional and modern solo dances and choreographed Irish dances.
And in typical Irish fashion, end the day off with a night of merry making, more dancing and certainly lots more drinks from 8pm on! Featuring performances by great bands, the evening promises to be a night never to be forgotten! |
