Hariss to Captain S.League All-Stars Team

 Our national U-23 captain Hariss Harun will be leading a very different team out of the tunnel on 2nd April. In a charity football match between the S.League All-Stars and Take Action with Albirex Niigata, Hariss Harun was handed the honour of being captain of our S.League All-Stars team.

Coached by three-time S.League Coach of the Year, Richard Bok of SAFFC, the S.League All-Stars will be featuring foreign talents such as Vitor Borges De Souza of Balestier Khalsa and Jordan Webb of Hougang United together with the likes of local favourites Fazrul Nawaz and Shaiful Esah of SAFFC.

The S.League All-Stars team is a blend of local and foreign players plying their trade in the S.League, they will be playing an Albirex Niigata side reinforced by internationally acclaimed footballers such as Masaaki Sawanobori and Masakiyo Maezono. One of Asia’s most recognisable footballers , Hidetoshi Nakata will also be part of the Albirex side.

The match will kick off at 5 pm at the Jalan Besar stadium and tickets are on sale today at the Albirex Niigata Singapore office at the Jurong East stadium and also at the FAS office located at the Jalan Besar stadium. Tickets are priced at $6 for the gallery seats and $12 for grandstand seats.

All revenue from ticket sales will be donated to the Japan relief efforts. Fans who attend the match can also contribute via the donation boxes placed around the stadium.
