Can the Talents avoid getting mauled again? (Photo: FAS)

The Young Lions and Beijing Guoan FC will go head to head in tonight’s S-League clash at the Jalan Besar stadium.

The Talents who was recently thrashed 5-2 by league leaders Tampines Rovers are out to prove that they are no pushovers in the league. The Young Lions put up a very good fight over the weekend against the seasoned Stags. They drew 1-1 but would have gained a considerable amount of confidence from the match.

Young Lions coach V. Sundramoorthy has vowed to field his strongest team for the RHB Singapore Cup and is looking to use this match to finalize his selection.

Beijing Guoan Talents are currently ninth in the league and are five points behind the seventh placed Young Lions. A win for the Talents will see them overtake Balestier Khalsa while a win for the Young Lions will see them draw level with Gombak United FC on points.

With everything to play for in tonight’s match, both sides will fight tooth and nail to claim all three points. The clash will take place tonight at 7.45pm.
