Tigers ready to face off against Young Lions

Will the Tigers finally beat the Young Lions tonight? (Photo: FAS)

It’s been almost a month since the last S-League match was played but Balestier Khalsa will surely still remember the sweet taste of victory.

The Tigers have been undefeated in their last 3 matches, including a 2-0 upset over SAFFC, and they will certainly hope that their momentum can continue after the long break. The Young Lions will be hoping to halt the Tigers but it looks to be an uphill task.

Six Young Lions took part in the two-week training stint in Serbia with the senior national team and as such, Young Lions coach V Sundramoorthy may have to rest some of his charges.

Sundramoorthy is far from dismayed however as he takes this opportunity to blood more Young Lions.

The Young Lions will be taking heart from the fact that they defeated the Tigers in their previous two encounters with healthy 3-0 scorelines.

The Tigers will definitely be making sure that the same does not happen again. Tonight’s contest takes place at Jalan Besar Stadium at 7.45pm. See you there!
