The Fairprice Foundation Netball Super League (NSL) 2010 will be held from 13 March to 1 May 2010 at the Jurong East SCC. The Netball Super League (NSL) is the premier league in Singapore. The national squad and age group players, and the best club and school players, are involved in this event.

 

This year, the Fairprice Foundation NSL will see a new format, with 3 top netball clubs (Sneakers, Nike and Bedok Kings) in Singapore making up 3 of the NSL teams. A further 2 teams are formed by top players outside of these 3 clubs through selection trials. The 6th team (M1 Sunfish) is formed by the 21&U players and the 7th team will be a top team from Malaysia.

 

The NSL is where the final squad of players for the national team and 21&U team are selected. It is therefore a very prestigious and hard fought competition as players have to give their best over 7 weeks to get selected. The teams have started training and gearing up for the competition.
