1. Contest Period
The contest will be held from 24 February 2010 to 16 March 2010
2. Contest Eligibility
• This contest is open to all bloggers residing in Singapore and who are members of SingaporeSports.sg.
• All personal particulars submitted at sign-up must be authentic and accurate. SingaporeSports.sg reserves the right to reject any entries with incomplete or false personal particulars.
• Employees of Singapore Sports Council, its vendors and suppliers, its agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to take part in this contest.
3. Contest Mechanics
• Entries must be submitted online at SingaporeSports.sg.
• Contestants must blog either about the local sporting scene or their participation in sports in the country in the month of February or March ‘10. • All submissions must be accompanied by either a photo or video clip.
• Contestants will be required to link the submission to their existing blog for the full write-up.
• Contestants will need to provide a hyperlink on their existing blog to the contest webpage on SingaporeSports.sg.
4. Contest Rules and Regulations
• By entering this contest, the Contestant agrees to all its terms and conditions.
• Each contestant is allowed to submit as many blog entries as they want as long as the entries are related to local sports or sports participation in the country.
• By submitting the entries, the contestant is solely responsible for all information in the entry/entries and certifies that the entry/entries submitted is his/her own original creation and does not violate or infringe upon any copyright(s).
• All entries must be complete.SingaporeSports.sg reserves the right to reject any incomplete entries.
• By submitting the entries, the Contestant grants SingaporeSports.sg the rights to use the information submitted in the entry for future promotion or commercial purposes for an unlimited period.
• SingaporeSports.sg reserves the rights to reject/disqualify any entries that contain any obscene, profanity, offensive, lewd, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate information.
5. Contest Criteria
• Entries will be evaluated on the following criteria
a) Relevance to the topic of local sports or Contestant’s sports participation in Singapore
b) Writing skills
c) Creativity
d) Entertainment value
6. Contest Results
• The results of the contest will be published on SingaporeSports.sg on 30 March 2010 and SingaporeSports.sg Facebook Fanpage
• All winners will be notified via the e-mail address that was submitted during registration as a SingaporeSports.sg member
7. Contest Prizes
• The top three bloggers will receive the following prizes
A. Top Prize- An Apple Macbook, Magic Mouse and iPhone
B. Second Prize- A Samsung Netbook and iPhone
C. Third Prize- An Apple iPhone
• All prizes are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any benefit in-kind.
• Winners must collect their prizes from an address designated by SingaporeSports.sg
• Notwithstanding anything in these terms and conditions, SingaporeSports.sg reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to
a) Cancel or modify this contest
b) Determine and/or amend, by addition to, deletion from or variation of, these terms and conditions without prior notification, including but not limited to, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection of winners, and the timing and venue of any act to be done, and all participants and winners shall be bound by such determination and/or amendments and
c) Substitute, withdraw or cancel any prize without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever
